Earlier in May, I had the pleasure of travelling to Seattle and meeting with Microsoft Actiongram team. The team was very well organized and the experience was well coordinated. Among other things:
- I saw the green room where Actiongram figures were captured. While much of what I saw was under NDA, I must commend the level of quality, expertise, and attention to detail of the people working there. It was very eye-opening for me and it solidified my belief in the long-term potential of this technology.
- I had lunch with some members of the Actiongram team at the on-campus restaurant Boardwalk.
- I gave the Actiongram team demos of some HoloLens apps we developed.
- I got an escorted tour of the Microsoft campus and lots of souvenirs 🙂
The timing couldn’t be better, as this was also during the week of the Build conference in Seattle, so I met up with many HoloLens developers to discuss the future.
Many HoloLens developers attended a party at the Living Computer Museum. This was the most awesome venue ever for a group like us!
Sean Ong and I also had fun demoing HoloLens to security guards at the convention center.

As a tourist, I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Seattle and worked my legs hard on those steep slopes!
I even got a chance to shoot some timelapse video at dawn 🙂
