Founding Members


Sky Zhou  (@skyzdev)

As the Director of Finance at Redline Communications (TSX: RDL), a Canadian tech company known for designing and manufacturing industrial and military-grade wireless communication systems for deployments world-wide, Sky has led multiple continuous improvement initiatives focused on business intelligence and worked closely with all departments (Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations) to enhance overall profitability. Sky is known for his passion and his ability to get things done. With a strong background in mathematics and programming, Sky has already developed multiple mini applications for mixed reality experience on Microsoft HoloLens.


Eddie Ho, CPA, CA

Eddie is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant and currently works as a Controller at Parkland Fuel Corporation (TSX:PKI), one of N. America’s fastest growing distributors and marketers of fuels and lubricants with a market capitalization of over $3B and revenues of over $6.2B. In this role, along in his former role as Manager at Ernst & Young LLP, Eddie has been involved in numerous transactions, including the acquisitions of Pioneer Energy, split of HP into HP Inc and HP Enterprise, and numerous other acquisitions and transactions. Eddie also worked with numerous technology companies and startups as an adviser or finance professional. Eddie considers himself a “techie” and is a personal early adoptor of many new technologies when they first emerged, including the Ricoh Theta S, Dyson’s Bladeless Fans, GoPro Hero Camera, Honda’s Adaptive Cruise Control / Lane Keep Assist System, the Roomba vacuum, and many more. As such, Eddie has a sharp taste for user experience.


Raymond Chan, MBA

As a Corporate Recruiter at Lannick, Raymond has grown its sales team by 50% in 2 years, and coached 80% of the new recruits to sustaining success. In his prior role at Robert Half, Raymond played an instrumental role in the acquisition of new clients through multiple sectors.  Raymond is passionate about marrying creative music & video production with technology.  He has personally produced multiple Youtube hits, including Streets of Waterloo Part2, featuring David Johnston (current Governor General of Canada, former president of University of Waterloo) and the Accounting Song with chorus “Debit Cash, Credit Life”.




Ian McCallum

As the Director, Software Engineering at Redline Communications, Ian spearheaded the development of the first-of-its-kind RAS-X solution, automating continuous antenna alignments, in order to maintain stable wireless communications among moving vessels at sea, at optimal throughput. In his prior role at Intel, Ian was responsible for FPGA Algorithm Acceleration and Distributed Computing. He is an expert and a great mentor in “Defect-Free” Software Design using a collection of best practices including Model Driven Design (UML/SysML), Object Oriented Design, Patterns, Test Driven Design (TDD), Refactoring, and Continuous Integration. Ian has been personally interested in the development of virtual reality and 3D graphics since 1990s and found Microsoft HoloLens to be an important breakthrough in this area.


Seelan Vamatheva

As Founder & Lead Developer of Neptune Interactive Inc., Seelan has led the development of several mobile and console video game titles from early concept all the way to market release. The latest one, the Castle Game, is a 3D strategy game for Sony’s PS4 and was a finalist at the 2015 Canadian Video Game Awards. With over 10 years of experience in software and 3D graphics development, mobile and console applications, and credits on feature films and video games, Seelan has experience across multiple industries, platforms, and technologies. In addition, Seelan leads the applied research on software tools and technologies for Film and Video Game production at Sheridan College’s Screen Industries Research and Training Centre. His current focus has been in the world of Virtual and Augmented Realities.
